Lune Web Design partnered with London-based photographer Samer Moukarzel to completely redesign his online presence. Samer specialises in family, portrait, wedding, and event photography — but his 14-year-old Wix site no longer reflected the quality of his work or the scale of his client base.

The Challenge

The old platform was outdated, slow, and difficult to manage. It also presented accessibility issues abroad, and Samer wanted to move to a system that offered full control, faster performance, and a professional standard worthy of his portfolio.

Our Approach
‍
We designed a clean, modern Webflow site with subtle motion and premium animation to complement Samer’s photographic style. Every portfolio and service page is powered by dynamic content — allowing Samer to easily update images, text, and testimonials through the CMS.

Smart conditional logic ensures that sections automatically hide when empty, giving him complete flexibility to manage large or small content sets without breaking layout or flow.

To bring a distinctive touch, we created a custom camera-lens preloader, animated in Adobe After Effects and integrated seamlessly into the site.

The Result
‍
The finished site feels elegant, minimal, and effortless — letting Samer’s photography take centre stage. Page speed, usability, and SEO have all improved significantly, and Samer can now manage every aspect of his website independently. He described the new platform as “a complete transformation” and was over the moon with the result.
